This transformer guarantees good running qualities with its multisensible speed controller and definite forwards and backwards control. Automatic overload protection. The controller gives a definite forwards and backwards control and speed settings. The control knob clicks gently into a zero position. Easy connection to the track using the pressure connection clips.
Panel controllers are ideal for creating an integrated control panel, with all controls in one unit, along with point and accessory switches and so on. With the same specifications as many of our cased controllers, panel controllers do not, however, come with integrated transformers. Details of which transformers are required for each controller are listed in the specification for that unit.

Single Track Hand Held Controller with Feedback* for most small Gauges.
*Feedback controllers create a closed loop between the controller and the locomotive which senses the load in the circuit and constantly adjusts the output. This will maintain the locomotive at an even speed up and down gradients and around curves without altering the regulator of the controller. Feedback controllers are not suitable for Portescap or other coreless motors or some DCC Ready locomotives

High Frequency Lighting Generator. This system provides lighting for locomotives and/or rolling stock, and is operated independently of the locomotive motor control. This means that by fitting a switch into the 16v AC supply the lights can be turned on or off whilst the loco is in motion, or even when stationary.
The HF-3 is compatible with the SS-1 and SS-2, and only with the SS-3 if a 0.47 mF capacitor is used to bridge each track break or each track section is wired individually to the HF-3. The HF-3 is not compatible with the HF-1 and HF-2

A small unit providing an automatic stop and start facility which only requires one reed switch to be installed. The locomotive decelerates for about 5 seconds after passing the reed switch and stops for approximately 20 seconds as factory set. The time stopped can be adjusted from approx 20-70 seconds, the rate of deceleration is also adjustable.
Reed switch and magnet are included.
