Kato N Alps Glacier Express RhB Ge4/4-III (Excellence Class) Passport Set

The popular Glacier Express now features a new, luxurious "Excellence Class" passenger car.

The train runs through the European Alps in southwestern Switzerland, from Zermatt to St. Moritz, spanning two railway companies, the Rhaetian Railway and the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway, taking a leisurely eight-hour journey. It's a popular panoramic tourist train offering magnificent views of the Alps. In 2019, the "Excellence Class," an even higher-class class than the first-class class, was introduced, bringing changes to the existing passenger cars.

This model includes a trainset incorporating the luxurious "Excellence Class" passenger car, which debuted in 2019. The existing first- and second-class passenger cars have also been updated with updated interiors and seat colors, allowing you to enjoy the Glacier Express as it is today. The Ge4/4-III also features a refurbished exterior.

Features:

• The vehicles included in the set are equivalent to the 10-2026 Alps Glacier Express 3-car basic set.

• The gold band distributed on the border of red and blue and white on the body of the replacement Arnold coupler accessory car and the EXCELLENCE CLASS lettering distributed on the upper part of the side indicator are reproduced

• The 1+1 row arrangement seats and tables, and the bar installed using the space from the end of the car to one window are reproduced.
• The side window is partially closed and reduced due to the installation of the bar at the end of the car.

• The color of the floorboard and bogie frame is set to blue.

• The API reproduces the interior with some seats removed and the luggage storage added.
• Minimum passing curve radius: R150.
• It can support DCC by replacing the light board with DN163K4a.
