Description

The Hoki 2200 is a hopper car developed for transport of wheat and feed in 1966. The car body has an oval cross section and has a structure extended to the full limit of the vehicle. The interior is bisected by a fixed partition, with a loading port at the top and a drop port at the bottom. It has been used for a long time since the era of JNR, but in recent years it has ended its role due to the decrease in transport volume.

Product Features

  • Faithfully reproduces the Hoki 2200 form, a hopper car with a complex shape and rich in three-dimensionality.
  • Fully demonstrate the know-how of the details cultivated in the American type (HO) covered hopper, and achieve fine and accurate expression of the three-dimensional effect by attaching steps and handrails.
  • A realistic driving scene is reproduced by the reproduction of a truck full of three-dimensionality and the "actually rotating roller bearing" adopted for the first time in Japan (HO).
  • The form of “Oval hatch × 2” and the popular “round hatch × 4” found in the type produced in the previous period can be reproduced by selecting accessories.
  • Adopted black and plated wheels.
  • The vehicle number and affiliation notation can be selected by a realistic letter. Other car body notations are reproduced realistically by printing.
  • Equipped with a (HO) KATO knuckle coupler that reproduces the form of a real vehicle coupler and has a coupling function.
