Kymodel 1/20 Theodor Heuss RC Model Boat (PNP)

Prototypical replica of the first lifeboat cruiser with latest design. All the following cruisers were built according to this concept. A total of four ships were built from the Theodor Heuss class. The cruiser was baptized on 12/02/57 in the name of the Federal President Theodor Heuss. The daughter boat was Tedje, baptized as a North German belittlement of the given name Theodore. The service was done by Theodor Heuss from 1957 to1963 on Borkum and from 1963 to 1985 in Laboe. After that the cruiser was sold and goes even today under the name Frido Spatz as a yacht. The boat was also privately owned since 1996 and should also sail again after the restoration. Earlier it was exhibited before the rescue scale in northern dike. The Theodor Heuss which lies in the German museum in Munich, is the sister ship renamed HH Meier. Top class quality model with excellent detailing.
