Platz 1/144 Royal Australian Air Force F/A-18A Hornet 77th Squadron Pylon / Weapon Equipment Plastic Model Kit

This is a 1/144 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the US Navy's masterpiece carrier-based fighter, the F/A-18 Hornet. It models the single-seat A-type of the F/A-18. The sharp Hornet's fuselage shape is realistically modeled even at a reasonable size with a finished length of about 110 mm.

The parts are made by F-Toys, so the number of parts is kept to a minimum, making it easy to enjoy assembling.

This kit also includes resin pylon parts and drop tank parts.

In addition, the weapons equipped on the pylons are also set with parts from Platz's current aircraft weapon set. You can combine them to reproduce the powerful appearance of the fully equipped aircraft.

The markings reproduce the markings of the aircraft of the 77th Squadron of the 81st Wing of the Royal Australian Air Force, which came to Japan to participate in the Japan-Australia joint training "Bushido Guardian 19" held in Hokkaido in 2019.

Special paintwork commemorating the 77th anniversary of the squadron's founding and regular paint markings are included.
